Deputy says prosecutor helped four hired killers escape

Santo Domingo.- Deputy Manuel Díaz on Tuesday called Villa Altagracia prosecutor Juan Medina de los Santos a criminal and who allowed four hired killers to escape from jail.

Quoted by listin.com.do, the legislator said he had revealed the situation to Justice minister Francisco Domínguez Brito, who did nothing. "I say itand repeat it regardless of the consequences."

The ruling PLD party deputy said that Prosecutor "releases drug traffickers for money and doesn’t do his job.”

He said Medina was forced out of Santo Domingo province as well as Samana province for the same reason, at the request of Samana senator Prims Pujals, “who spoke directlywith the President of the Republic.”

"And why inst he taken out of Villa Altagracia, even after I sent a letter to the Justice Minister,?" the legislator asks.

As to the fugitives Isael Andrés Rosario, Andy Martínez , Elvis Félix and Jacinto Reyes, charged with killing three men and torching their bodies at the Loma Los Mogotes, Villa Altagracia, who escaped when they were transferred to Najayo prison from the Prosecutor’s Office of Villa Altagracia, Diaz says the Medina is their accomplice .

"It was he who provided the weapons and allowed their escape, that was being planned months ago."
