Border Patrol apprehends 49 Haitians for immigration irregularities

Dajabón, DR.- Following patrol operations conducted along various points of the border in Dajabón, the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFront) has apprehended 49 Haitian individuals with irregular immigration status.

At the Battle Sábana Larga Border Operations base, CESFront members, in collaboration with C-2, successfully detained the group comprising 38 men, 6 women, and 5 minors. Subsequently, all individuals were transferred to the National Immigration Directorate for further processing.

CESFront remains steadfast in its patrol and intelligence efforts, adhering closely to the directives outlined by Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa ERD. The overarching objective remains the eradication of illicit activities along the border perimeter, thereby safeguarding the interests of the Dominican populace.
