Infotep promotes environmental awareness

Santo Domingo.- The National Institute of Technical and Professional Training (Infotep) hosted a week of activities promoting environmental protection and raising public awareness about environmental issues on Earth Day.

A key event was a talk titled “Leading the transition to renewable energy and sustainability” by Moroccan Ambassador Hichame Dahane, at the initiative of Infotep Director General Professor Rafael Santos Badía.

Dahane stressed the importance of nature conservation and climate change education. He highlighted Morocco’s efforts in renewable energy and its position as a leader in combating climate change.

Iris Hurtado, Eastern Regional Director, praised Santos Badía’s environmental advocacy and thanked Dahane for the talk. She emphasized the importance of the “Innovate for the Planet” initiative, a nationwide Infotep program held on Earth Day.

The Ambassador toured Infotep’s training offerings with members of the Dominican Association of Friendship with Morocco (ADAMAR).
