Santo Domingo.- Former Chilean President Eduardo Frei, head of the observer mission from the Organization of American States (OAS), visited the polling stations at Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (Unphu).
“The role of the OAS is to listen to all reports and, most importantly, inform the authorities, which we have been doing for 20 years,” said Frei. He also noted that the electoral process is organized and peaceful, with a significant turnout of voters, according to reports from the 84 OAS observers stationed throughout the country.
