Mechanical breakdown traps passengers in Santo Domingo Cable Car

Santo Domingo.- The Office for the Reorganization of Transport (Opret) reported a mechanical breakdown in the Santo Domingo Cable Car between the T1 Gualey station and T3 Sábana Perdida.

Several people are currently trapped inside the cable car cabins due to the failure of a component called the bearing.

Opret has assured that it is maintaining communication with the passengers inside the cabins and is working diligently to restore service as quickly as possible.

Update

The service of the Santo Domingo Cable Car was restored, confirmed the Office for the Reorganization of Transport (OPRET).
