Will present ‘Relatos de una Adicta’ (Stories of an Addict)

Santo Domingo – Dominican Lissette Arias Reyes will present her first book “Relatos de una adicta” during an event next Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Dominican Republic Children’s and Youth Library in the capital.

The autobiographical work recounts the author’s difficult moments related to her addiction to alcohol and drugs.

She will address events of her childhood and adolescence and her road to recovery.

Arias Reyes will share intimate details of her life, including traumas and addictions she faced.

She will explain how she found hope through faith and the support of recovery programs.

Dr. Rafael Antonio Rosario Abreu wrote the book’s prologue.

The library where she will release the text is on Doctor Delgado Street.
