911 responds to bus collision on Charles de Gaulle Avenue

Santo Domingo.- The National Emergency and Security Assistance System 911 deployed resources following a traffic accident involving the collision of two buses on Charles de Gaulle Avenue in Santo Domingo Este (SDE) this Tuesday morning.

Emergency personnel at the scene assisted 10 individuals, who were subsequently transported to nearby health centers for further care.

To manage the situation, 911 coordinated the rapid response of four ambulances from the Directorate of Out-of-Hospital Emergency Services (DAEH) and two fire trucks from the SDE Fire Department. Additionally, three units from the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Security (DIGESETT) were dispatched to facilitate traffic flow.
