Universal Postal Union donates equipment to INPOSDOM

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Postal Institute (INPOSDOM) has received Dell Optiplex computers, HP LaserJet printers, and Android POS systems from the Universal Postal Union (UPU) to enhance user services. These additions align with the modernization plan led by General Director Erick Guzmán over the past two years.

During an event with executives and collaborators, Guzmán highlighted the equipment’s role in systematizing services, a key part of the Relaunch and Transformation Plan. He noted that the acquisitions, which also include trucks and scales, aim to improve service efficiency across all offices and align with the National Recovery Plan.

Guzmán announced the upcoming launch of upgraded accounting, tracking, and billing systems across all state post offices and introduced the “INPOSPAK” service for e-commerce transactions. He emphasized that these advancements, supported by donations from international postal organizations like the Postal Union of the Americas, Spain, and Portugal (UPAEP), are complemented by staff training to improve the quality of life for collaborators.

This announcement was made at the “Don Enrique de Marchena” conference room at the Postal Institute headquarters.
