No work suspension due to Hurricane Beryl

Santo Domingo.- The Government has not suspended work activities this Tuesday due to Hurricane Beryl, reported Minister of the Presidency Joel Santos tonight after a meeting President Luis Abinader held with emergency and relief agency heads.

Any decisions regarding work suspension will be communicated through official channels, he clarified, debunking false reports claiming otherwise.

The National Hurricane Center has confirmed that Beryl has become a potentially catastrophic Category 5 hurricane in the eastern Caribbean.
