Extensive program announced for Santiago Patron Saint Festivities

Santiago, DR.- The Mayor of Santiago has announced a comprehensive program of activities for Saturday, July 20, as part of the celebrations for the Patron Saint Festivities Santiago Apóstol El Mayor 2024.

Starting at 8 AM, the Mayor’s Office will host various artistic and cultural events. The Regional Directorate of Culture will conduct the “Art in Process” meeting from 8 AM to 5 PM, featuring an entrepreneurs’ bazaar.

The Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre) will set up a small market offering basic food products at affordable prices. Traditional games, including dominoes and chess, will commence at 3 PM.

The day will culminate with an artistic show presented by the Santiago City Hall, featuring merengue singer Didi Hernández and the typical music of El Blachy on the main stage, starting at 3 PM.

The Mayor’s Office invites all residents of Santiago to join in this traditional festival in honor of the city’s patron saint, Santiago Apóstol El Mayor.
