Puerto Plata.- Atahualpa Paulino, the regional director of the Ministry of Tourism, announced that approximately 30 cruise ships are scheduled to arrive in Puerto Plata this August. According to the schedules provided by shipping companies and the two ports in the area, 14 of these ships will dock at Taino Bay, located in the city center, while the remaining 16 will enter through Amber Cove in the Maimón municipal district.

In an official statement, Paulino emphasized the growing activity in the Dominican Republic, particularly in the northern region, with the arrival of numerous cruise ships.
