Mitur forms tourist security table in Jarabacoa

Jarabacoa – The Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) formed the Tourism Security Table in Jarabacoa to implement public policies that benefit the municipality’s tourism sector.

Representatives of several institutions participated in the meeting and pledged to work hard to strengthen the protection and safety of tourists in this mountainous area.

In this sense, the director of Tourism in the northern zone, Atahualpa Paulino, said that the security table seeks to formalize the businesses that offer tourist services, train, guide, and accredit guides related to the sector, make a survey of the priority works and coordinate actions to improve traffic.

The security table comprises representatives of institutions and various sectors of society in the municipality of Jarabacoa. They will follow up to work together and strengthen the growth of the tourist destination.
