A traffic accident on the Verón-Bávaro ring road involving a bus and a truck has resulted in two fatalities and 24 injuries. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on today, involving a white Daihatsu truck and a white hotel shuttle bus.
Preliminary reports indicate that the majority of the victims are Haitian nationals, who were traveling in the truck carrying construction workers. The injured have been transported to multiple medical centers in the area for treatment.
