Flights canceled due to Storm Ernesto

Santo Domingo.- Flights between Saint Martin and the Dominican Republic scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, have been canceled following a statement from Princess Juliana International Airport, which has closed operations due to the approach of Storm Ernesto.

Dominican airline Arajet announced the cancellation of flights DM1032 (SDQ-SXM) and DM1033 (SXM-SDQ). The airline assured passengers that their safety is the top priority and offered rebooking options via email. Arajet also apologized for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their understanding.

Delta Air Lines has also issued a travel advisory, noting that flights to and from Punta Cana, San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas from August 12 to August 15 may be affected by Tropical Storm Ernesto. The airline is allowing travelers to rebook their flights before August 18.
