Abinader and Curaçao Prime Minister hold bilateral meeting

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader held a bilateral meeting with Gilmar Pisas, Prime Minister of Curaçao and head of the Netherlands delegation, who arrived in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday afternoon to attend the President’s inauguration on Friday.

During their meeting, President Abinader and Prime Minister Pisas discussed matters of mutual interest to the Dominican Republic and Curaçao, as well as various international issues.

Curaçao is a Dutch Caribbean island known for its cove-lined beaches, extensive coral reefs teeming with marine life, and the capital, Willemstad, which features pastel-colored colonial architecture, the Queen Emma floating bridge, and the 17th-century Mikve Israel-Emanuel synagogue with its sand floor.
