Flights canceled at AILA due to Hurricane Ernesto

Santo Domingo.- Hurricane Ernesto’s passage through the Caribbean has led to the cancellation of at least ten commercial flights at Las Américas International Airport, José Francisco Peña Gómez (AILA).

The airport’s Flight Operations Department canceled these flights due to severe weather conditions and expected heavy rains. Major disruptions include:

  • Intercaribbean Airways: Flights 410 and 411, serving the British Isles, have been suspended.
  • Sky High Airlines: Flights 957 and 956, connecting the airport with Antigua and Guadeloupe, are canceled.
  • Arajet: Flights 1033 and 1032, bound for Saint Martin, have also been affected.
  • JetBlue: Flights 2537 and 2538, scheduled to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico, have been suspended.
