Punta Bergantín joins Association of Real Estate Tourism Companies

Puerto Plata.- The Trust for Economic and Social Development of the Punta Bergantín Zone has joined the Dominican Association of Real Estate Tourism Companies (ADETI), which represents organizations promoting real estate tourism in the Dominican Republic. This partnership strengthens Punta Bergantín’s role in the industry, with plans that include 4,000 hotel rooms, 1,500 residential units, commercial spaces, offices, beach clubs, and recreational areas.

The project aims to boost tourism in Montellano, Puerto Plata, with additional features like an academic campus, a film studio, and an 18-hole golf course. ADETI welcomed Punta Bergantín as a member, highlighting its contribution to diversifying the tourism sector and stimulating Puerto Plata’s economy through job creation and investment.

Launched by President Luis Abinader, the Punta Bergantín project is a government initiative supported by BanReservas and the Ministry of Tourism. It seeks to position Puerto Plata as a top-tier hotel destination while fostering sustainable real estate development along the North Coast. ADETI includes prestigious members such as Grupo Puntacana, Casa de Campo, and Playa Nueva Romana.
