Arajet partners with CellPoint Digital to enhance payment solutions

Santo Domingo.- CellPoint Digital and Arajet have entered into a partnership to provide Arajet with a robust payment network capable of supporting a wide range of alternative payment methods (APM). This collaboration aims to minimize transaction costs and support the airline’s expansion into new markets.

Victor Pacheco Mendez, CEO and founder of Arajet, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “As a growing airline in the region, we needed a payment solution that supports our expansion, keeps fares affordable, and aligns with the payment preferences of our target markets.”

Kristian Gjerding, CEO of CellPoint Digital, highlighted the significance of innovative payment technology for low-fare airlines like Arajet, which helps them remain competitive. He noted that CellPoint’s solution enables Arajet to introduce value-added payment services in new markets, boosting revenue.

This partnership will allow Arajet to quickly integrate new APMs for flights in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, using CellPoint’s unique API connection, further supporting its expansion in North and Latin America.
