GAT Showcase Santo Domingo draws over 460 gambling operators

Santo Domingo.- The second day of the GAT Showcase Santo Domingo, held on September 19 at the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel & Casino, attracted over 460 operators from national casinos, sports banking, lotteries, and electronic lotteries. International delegates from 12 countries, including the U.S., Colombia, and Argentina, joined alongside major technology companies from China and Korea. The event featured two days of conferences, exhibitions, and networking, highlighting the Dominican Republic’s growing prominence in the Latin American gambling industry.

Key industry figures, including Francisco Garibaldi Pavonessa of the National Equestrian Commission and senior representatives from various Latin American lotteries and gaming commissions, attended the event. Discussions focused on the sector’s sustainable and regulated growth, showcasing the Dominican Republic’s potential as a major player in the international gambling market.

Exhibition areas showcased innovations in land-based equipment, online platforms, cybersecurity, and legal services, with companies such as Pragmatic Play, Digitain, and BetConstruct as prominent sponsors. The event also emphasized local industry involvement and is set to continue with its next stop in Cancun, Mexico, in November.
