Santo Domingo—From early morning until mid-morning, the Meteorological Institute expects isolated showers towards Sánchez Ramírez, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, and Barahona. These will give way to a sky with few clouds and sunny skies over most localities.
However, the institute predicts that in the afternoon and early evening, there will be some cloudy developments with local downpours, thundershowers, and wind gusts towards the northwest, northeast, Central Cordillera, and the border, especially El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Vega, Santiago, Elías Piña, Dajabón, Santiago Rodríguez, Puerto Plata, Valverde, and Monte Cristi.
The Meteorological Institute reported that hot temperatures would continue, urging the public to drink plenty of water and a little sun.
