President Abinader’s Tuesday agenda in New York

New York.- This Tuesday, President Luis Abinader continues his activities in New York City, which include attending a summit of global leaders, high-level meetings, and engaging with the Dominican community in the city.

His day begins at 8:45 a.m. with the opening of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN headquarters. Later, at 1:30 p.m., President Abinader will attend the Summit of Leaders of the Global Coalition to confront Synthetic Drugs, hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the Intercontinental NY Barclay Hotel.

In the afternoon, he will participate in a high-level meeting at 4:00 p.m. on education financing for sustainable transformation, followed by an event at 5:30 p.m. organized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs and the World Economic Forum at the UN Permanent Mission. The day concludes with a 7:00 p.m. meeting with the Dominican community at Hostos Community College in the Bronx.
