New York.- President Luis Abinader will speak before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) this Wednesday, September 25, as part of the 79th session in New York. His speech is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., subject to the day’s agenda. Abinader will also participate in bilateral meetings with key figures attending the assembly.
Later, at 5:30 p.m., Abinader will join U.S. President Joe Biden at a reception for heads of state and government attending both the UNGA and the UN Future Summit. This event is one of many taking place during his visit from September 22 to 26.
On Thursday, the Dominican president will fulfill additional commitments before returning to Santo Domingo later in the evening.
