Kenyan President receives Haitian delegation at UN General Assembly

New York.- Kenyan President William Ruto met with a Haitian delegation during the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday to enhance bilateral relations and discuss the ongoing crisis in Haiti. The delegation was led by Edgard Leblanc, President of the Provisional Transitional Council (CPT), and included prominent figures like Leslie Voltaire, Garry Conille, and Dominique Ayiti.

In their discussions, the leaders addressed critical issues such as security, development, and international cooperation, with participation from Kenyan Vice President Musalia Mudavadi and Kenyan Ambassador to the UN, Monica Juma. This meeting reflects Haiti’s diplomatic efforts to garner international support aimed at restoring security and fostering sustainable development initiatives amidst the current challenges the country faces.
