Mirbalais, Haiti enforces curfew to combat rising insecurity

Haiti.- The Municipality of Mirbalais, Haiti, has enforced a curfew from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, restricting the movement of vehicles, motorcycles, and halting all commercial, religious, and cultural activities during these hours. The measure, announced by Mayor Lochard Laguerre on Wednesday, aims to enhance security in response to a recent surge in incidents affecting the community.

Local authorities stated that the curfew will remain in effect until further notice, urging residents to remain vigilant. The decision reflects the municipality’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens.
