LATAM increases flights to Punta Cana for summer season

Punta Cana.- LATAM Group will expand its flight offerings to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for the 2024/25 southern summer season, with new frequencies starting in December and continuing until March 2025. By January 2025, LATAM plans to boost its available seat kilometers (ASK) by 53.7% compared to the same period in 2024, according to Cirium data.

The increased routes will connect Punta Cana to Lima, Peru; Miami, USA; and Santiago, Chile. Flights from Lima will rise from 14 to 17 weekly using Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, while services from Miami and Santiago will increase from 1 to 3 weekly using Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 models. This expansion aims to strengthen connectivity across LATAM’s key hubs, offering better options for tourists from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
