Ministry of Women faces backlash over social media post

Santo Domingo.- A post by the Ministry of Women on Instagram is causing a stir on social media due to an image of two Afro-descendant women, described by users as Haitian.

"Para mí son dominicanas" dice Paliza sobre las fotos utilizadas por Ministerio de la Mujer

The post received dozens of negative interactions from users who expressed outrage that information intended for Dominican women should not be illustrated by two Haitian women. Some expressed that this post was made with an ulterior motive.

The Ministry of Women decided to delete it.
