Santo Domingo.- The inaugural ComicCon Dominican Republic concluded successfully this Sunday, drawing hundreds of comic, film, and pop culture enthusiasts. Held at the Sans Souci port on October 5 and 6, it marked a milestone as the country’s first large-scale event of its kind.
Hollywood stars like Grace Caroline Currey (from the DC film Shazam) and actors Seth Gilliam and Cooper Andrews (from The Walking Dead) headlined the guest list, while international cosplay icons dazzled the audience with their elaborate costumes. The event featured a diverse program of activities, including conferences, performances, and autograph sessions. Standout moments included Adrián Barba, singer of the iconic Dragon Ball GT theme, and Patty Azán, known for her Spanish voice work as Eric Cartman in South Park.
With the success of this edition, organizers have announced that ComicCon Dominican Republic will return in 2025, promising even more attractions and surprises for fans.
