Santo Domingo – The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported Saturday the formation of Tropical Storm Oscar.

According to the first public warning on this atmospheric phenomenon, it is located about 795 kilometers from Camagüey, Cuba, and is moving at 20 kilometers per hour.

Likewise, its maximum sustained wind speed is 65 kilometers per hour.

For this reason, a tropical storm warning was issued for the Turks and Caicos Islands, the southeastern Bahamas, and the Cuban provinces of Guantanamo, Holguin, and Las Tunas.
