President Abinader confirms no new tax reform proposal

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader confirmed on Monday that there is no new tax reform proposal under consideration.

During an event with the press, Abinader emphasized that while the government will make necessary adjustments to sustain economic growth, it will not be at the accelerated pace initially projected with the reform.

The president also noted that his administration has successfully navigated challenging circumstances and highlighted the Dominican Republic’s economic growth, particularly in increased exports, despite the global economic crisis.
