APORDOM participates in annual cruise conference in Saint Martin

Saint Martin.- Jean Luis Rodríguez, Director of the Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM), participated in the 30th Annual Conference and Trade Fair of the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), held from October 21st to 24th on the island of Saint Martin.

Rodríguez emphasized the significance of this event, as it is the largest cruise conference in the Caribbean and provides an international platform to further position the Dominican Republic in global markets. The gathering brings together leaders and experts from the cruise industry to explore new opportunities and forge strategic connections aimed at expanding cruise routes, attracting more visitors, and fostering growth in the country’s ports and terminals.

The conference also serves as an open forum where key players in the sector work together to enhance business relationships and improve the cruise industry. During the four-day event, APORDOM represented the Dominican Republic, aiming to strengthen the country’s cruise industry and attract new cruise lines to its ports.
