In a post on X/Twitter, Abinader praised Trump for his significant win as the 47th president of the United States, reaffirming the commitment to enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.
Trump’s victory marks his return to the White House after his loss in 2020. He triumphed over Vice President Kamala Harris, securing a historic win along with a majority in Congress. Other leaders in the region have also congratulated Trump on his success.
