Federation for Animal Rights mourns the death of Yubal de la Rosa Carpio

The untimely death of Yubal de la Rosa Carpio saddens the animal protection society.

La Altagracia – The Dominican Federation for Animal Rights (FEDDA) mourned the death of the activist and defender of animal rights, Yubal de la Rosa Carpio, who suffered a heart attack at the young age of 41.

Yubal, who represented the province of La Altagracia with dedication and passion, was a tireless defender of animal rights and president of the Foundation for the Protective Love of Altagracia Canines (Funproacanisa) and other related institutions.

His commitment to the animal cause was his raison d’être. Through his shelter, the most important in the province, he provided a home and care for dozens of rescued dogs, becoming an essential figure in their defense and protection.

The FEDDA defined the deceased as a brave activist who repeatedly became a trend for the complaints he made about animal abuse in our society.

“Hours before his departure, Yubal mentioned to his relatives that he felt a strong stomach pain, although the forensic doctor established that the cause of death was a heart attack,” explains a note sent to the media by the Federation.

He indicates that “his unexpected departure leaves a deep void in our lives and in the animal rights community, which is in mourning today. We extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”
