Vietnamese Prime Minister to visit Dominican Republic next week

Santo Domingo.- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will visit the Dominican Republic from November 19 to 21 to deepen bilateral relations and engage with the local business sector. His visit, announced by the Dominican Foreign Ministry, will include key meetings and events in Santo Domingo.

On November 20, Prime Minister Chinh will meet with President Luis Abinader at the National Palace for a private discussion, followed by an expanded meeting between their delegations. Both leaders are expected to address the media afterward. Chinh will also meet with Senate President Ricardo de los Santos and Chamber of Deputies President Alfredo Pacheco at the National Congress.

The visit will culminate in a business forum on November 21 and a lecture at the Institute of Higher Education in Diplomatic and Consular Training (Inesdyc), where the Prime Minister will discuss Vietnam’s foreign policy towards Latin America and the Caribbean.
