DGA operation in Asian capital storeExternal source

Santo Domingo – The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) inspected a chain of stores in the Asian capital dedicated to the trade of household goods and decorations.

With this action, the DGA continues inspecting companies whose investors are of Asian origin to carry out audits to verify and ensure compliance with customs formalities and regulations.

Suspecting possible practices that threaten legal trade, the DGA carried out an inspection operation on the chain of stores IMPORTADORA MUDAN SRL, five of them, located in several locations of the National District and the Municipality of Santo Domingo Este and a branch in Santiago de los Caballeros.

In a press release, the DGA assured that the audit is carried out “within the framework of the processes carried out by this institution aimed at combating tax evasion.”

The document stated that these actions will continue to combat tax evasion and unfair competition.
