Loma Miranda declared a National Park by deputies

Santo Domingo.- The Chamber of Deputies approved in two consecutive readings Tuesday night the bill that declares Loma Miranda a National Park, the same bill that was modified by the Senate and rejected in the last legislature by the lower chamber.

Reintroduced by La Vega senator Euclides Sanchez, one of the National Park’s main promoters, and other eight senators, the legislation was approved unanimously with 143 votes in favor and in order to become law itshould now be approved in the Senate.
