Congressman: Falcondo seeks to intimidate President Medina

Santo Domingo- Dominican Republic’s ruling PLD party spokesman Adriano Sanchez Roa said Friday that the statements by Falcondo consultant Eduardo Jorge Prats seek to intimidate president Danilo Medina to not pass the law declaring Loma Miranda a national park.

Prats had said that the company would have to be compensated with 4 billion dollars if the law on Loma Miranda is approved.

According to senator Sanchez Roa, the Senate tuned every aspect of the law so that possible affected people do not allege any violation of their rights. He called Prats statements an "exaggeration."
