Los Angeles.- Dominican-born actress Zoe Saldaña has been nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as lawyer Rita Mora Castro in the musical thriller Emilia Perez. This marks another milestone in her illustrious career.

The film also garnered recognition for Spanish actress Karla Sofía Gascón, who received her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress, and Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres, nominated in the drama category for I’m Still Here.
