UASD, University of Granada to develop research projects

Santo Domingo.- Santo Domingo State University (UASD) and the University of Granada, Spain, will relaunch bilateral agreements to develop joint academic and and research projects in the field of seismology.

The rectors of the two institutions, doctors Ivan Grullon Fernandez and Francisco Gonzalez Lodeiro, initiated a process of rapprochement in order to strengthen existing relations between the first university in the americas and its Spanish counterpart.

Grullon and Gonzalez discussed the importance of undertaking a process of students exchange for the master’s degree. They also stressed that through strengthening the links between the two universities both students and teachers will have more opportunities to obtain funds from local governments in Spain for their studies.
