Vice Minister of Economic Planning, Jeffrey Lizardo Ortiz, resigns

Santo Domingo.- Jeffrey Lizardo Ortiz, Vice Minister of Planning at the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Development, has announced his resignation, effective December 31, 2024. In a letter addressed to President Luis Abinader, Lizardo Ortiz cited personal reasons for his decision while reaffirming his commitment to the Dominican Republic’s development and his intention to continue contributing to the nation’s progress in other capacities.

During his tenure, Lizardo Ortiz spearheaded initiatives aimed at strengthening the economy and enhancing citizens’ quality of life.
