Roberto Salcedo named Dominican Ambassador to Panama

Santo Dominigo.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) announced the appointment of six ambassadors in the Dominican Foreign Service, including four rotating assignments and two new diplomatic officials. Additionally, Francisco Alberto Caraballo Núñez, current ambassador to Germany, was named Vice Minister of Bilateral Foreign Policy under decree 703-24.

President Luis Abinader, through decree 704-24, appointed José Alfonso Blanco Conde as ambassador to Canada, Wellington Darío Bencosme Castaños as permanent representative to the UN in New York, and Olivio Adalberto Fermín Fermín as ambassador to Israel. Rosa Margarita Hernández Caamaño de Grullón was designated as ambassador to the United Kingdom, Esmerito Antonio Salcedo Gavilán (Roberto Salcedo) as ambassador to Panama, and Juan Alberto Cohen Sander as ambassador to Chile. These appointments await Senate approval as required by the Dominican Constitution.
