U.S. Embassy introduces new “Bridge” design for visas

Santo Domingo.- The U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic has introduced a new visa design called the “Bridge.” This aesthetic update does not affect the validity or conditions of previously issued visas, which will remain valid until their expiration date.

In a statement shared on social media, the embassy reassured applicants that visas with the former “Lincoln” design are still accepted. The redesign symbolizes connection and accessibility, reflecting the ties between the United States and travelers visiting the country.

Key details include that the new design does not alter the visa application process or requirements. The embassy encourages applicants to access additional information via links on its official platforms. This update aligns with efforts to modernize official documents while emphasizing security and shared values.
