Carolina Mejía to join Yale conference in February

Santo Domingo.- Mayor Carolina Mejía announced her participation in the National Conference of Dominican Students, set to take place from February 20 to 23 at Yale University in Connecticut, USA. In a video shared on her social media, Mejía expressed her excitement in English: “I am very excited to announce that I will be part of the upcoming National Conference of Dominican Students. I can’t wait to meet you, see you all, and talk to you.”

Organized by the Dominican Students Association at Yale, the annual event provides a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and personal growth through workshops, conferences, and cultural activities. Mejía will share insights from her nearly five years as mayor of Santo Domingo, the first city of the Americas. The conference also brings together hundreds of Dominican students to discuss issues affecting their community, foster leadership development, and build meaningful connections.
