San Pedro de Macorís, DR.- Fernando Tatis, manager of the Estrellas Orientales, has been honored as the 2024-2025 Manager of the Year by the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). Tatis earned a total of 269 points in a tightly contested race, narrowly edging out Yadier Molina, manager of the Águilas Cibaeñas, who finished with 262 points.
Tatis appeared on all 69 ballots under LIDOM’s weighted evaluation system, introduced last season to recognize the league’s top performers. His leadership was pivotal in guiding the Estrellas Orientales throughout the championship, earning him this prestigious accolade.
