Juan Soto shares lunch with 911 Emergency System team

Santo Domingo.- Renowned Major League Baseball player Juan Soto visited the National Emergency and Security System 911 in the Dominican Republic, sharing a special lunch with the institution’s staff. The event aimed to recognize the dedication of 911 personnel who tirelessly serve the Dominican population in emergencies.

During his visit, Soto expressed heartfelt gratitude to the workers, acknowledging their crucial role in supporting the community. “We know that calls can be very challenging, but you are always ready to respond and help. Your work speaks volumes about your commitment,” Soto said, pledging his support for their efforts.

Soto toured the 911 facilities, including the Emergency Dispatch, Call Reception, and Video Surveillance areas, gaining insight into the system’s operations and technological advancements. Colonel Randolfo Rijo Gómez, executive director of the 911 System, thanked Soto for his visit, emphasizing the morale boost it provided to the staff. The day concluded with a friendly atmosphere, where Soto interacted with the team, signing autographs and taking photos, underscoring the powerful connection between sports and public service.
