Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader inaugurated the Unified Technical Training Network at the National Institute of Technical and Professional Training (INFOTEP), positioning the institution as a regional leader in technology within Central America and the Caribbean.

The newly launched platform features a state-of-the-art Data Center, a Unified Management and Monitoring Center, and a Network Operations and Closed-Circuit Television Center. He noted that this initiative provides a clear view of academic performance, crucial for data-driven decision-making.

Highlighting the security enhancements, Santos Badía assured that the intelligent systems safeguard the institution’s connected infrastructure against external threats.

Edgar Batista, Vice Minister of Digital Agenda, underscored the importance of technology in driving national progress, addressing challenges in security, transportation, and education, and preparing for a digital future.
