Sectors slam bill proposing political parties Law

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) and the young business leaders grouped in ANJE joined in the sectors that have questioned the bill of the political parties Law submitted to Congress by Dominican Republic’s ruling PLD party.

Both organizations support the observations made to the project by the Institutionalism and Justice Foundation (Finjus), which said that the law on political parties distorts the role of parties, eliminates the mechanisms for transparency of their income and expenses and limits cross-party processes, among other prerogatives.
