Drug traffickers’ seized properties to auction block

Santo Domingo.- The National Drugs Control Agency – DNCD – on Thursday announced that properties, autos and real estate seized from convicted drug traffickers.

The properties seized from Quirino Paulino, Jose Figueroa Agosto, Félix Zapata Molet and Emilio Mesa Beltre (El Gringo) will go on the auction block starting today.

It said nine apartments, seven lots, a house and 11 motor vehicles will be auctioned, among others.

Paulino’s seized assets include three apartments valued in more than RD$320,000; Zapata has three apartments with an estimated value of more than RD$14.0 million; Figueroa figures with two apartments in Torre Alco Paradisso, valued at more RD$35.5 million.

The DNCD says other properties seized in numerous cases will also go auction.
