Water leak wastes thousands of liters as neighbors face shortages in Arroyo Hondo Viejo

National District — Thousands of liters of water have been wasted for over a week due to a broken pipe on Erick Leonard Eckman Street, near Los Próceres Avenue, in the Arroyo Hondo Viejo sector, National District.

Residents of the area express their indignation since, even though the leak occurs a few corners from the offices of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation, the authorities have not yet taken action to solve the problem.

In addition, they denounce the constant shortage of water in the sector, which forces them to buy tanker trucks or depend on free supplies from the CAASD.

They fear this massive water loss will further aggravate their crisis.
