Abinader announces creation of National Anti-Corruption Transparency System

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader announced the establishment of the National Anti-Corruption Transparency System (SNTA) by decree to strengthen transparency and combat corruption in the Dominican Government. Speaking at La Semanal con la Prensa, he emphasized that the SNTA will oversee all public officials, from mid-level to high-ranking, across ministries, directorates, and public administration institutions.

Abinader highlighted the need for a more agile and integrated system to coordinate anti-corruption efforts, ensuring that honesty and transparency become societal norms. The initiative will operate with OECD guidance, promoting efficiency, zero impunity, and accountability in public policy execution.
