Asonahores strengthens collaboration for sustainable tourism in Puerto Plata
Puerto Plata.- The Association of Hotels and Tourism (Asonahores) met with key tourism and business organizations in Puerto Plata, including the Association of Hotels of the North (Ashonorte), the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Puerto Plata, the Association of Sosúa-Cabarete Hotels, and the Puerto Plata Tourism Cluster. The meeting focused on the Territorial Planning Law, key planning initiatives, and tourism development strategies for the province.
Asonahores highlighted its efforts in land use planning, security, regulation, and labor issues to support the tourism sector. Executive Vice President Aguie Lendor emphasized that this meeting marks the start of a series of strategic collaborations aimed at strengthening partnerships between Asonahores and regional associations. The goal is to foster joint efforts that drive sustainable tourism growth in the Dominican Republic.
